When It Comes To Gaming Does The Contrast Ratio Of A Lcd Monitor Make A Difference?

im deciding between 2 acer lcd monitors one has a contrast ratio of 2500:1 the other has 700:1 other than that they are exactly the same. Will it make any difference? and if so which one would be better for gaming?
